Dear Mr. De Carvalho
I am pleased to announce that Panama's Festival Animedia has the support of Panama's National Institute of Culture (INAC) to present the first ever animation festival in Panama, to take place in one of the most amazing areas of Panama City, a colonial neighborhood known as Casco Viejo. The Venue, the Anita Villalaz Theater, will open its doors on March 3rd, 2012 to hold this one-of-a-kind event.
From the conception of the festival, the goal was to have a cultural event that was open to the public at no cover charge. With the help of the INAC we are making this a reality. We could proudly say "WE did it!", but the fact is that none of this would have been possible without your support and the support of many other animation artists around the world who, like you, jumped in without hesitation, cheered me up and provided us with great talent and effort.
From Festival Animedia, from Panama and from me personally, thank you for sharing your precious work with us. A door has opened and we will continue our hard work in the years to come.
